A Savior for Everybody • Luke 2

The angel said, "Don't be afraid.
I'm here to announce a great and joyful event
that is meant for everybody, worldwide
A Savior has just been born in David's town,
a Savior who is Messiah and Master."

Luke 2:10-11

"Glory to God in the heavenly heights,
Peace to all men and women on earth who please Him."

Luke 2:14

"With my own eyes I've seen Your salvation; it's now out in the open for everyone to see: A God-revealing light to the non-Jewish nations, and of glory for your people Israel."

Luke 2:30-32

So quietly You came.

Lord of all.

Angels threw a surprise party for shepherds,
sharing the life-changing, world-rocking news:
You arrived!

You came for everyone,
young virgins, faithful young men,
shepherds, old men, old women,
Gentiles and Jews.

You came for me and for them.

Oh that I will run with the shepherds —
proclaim with Simeon and Anna —
God is with us!

Oh come, let us adore Him!
