God's Sunrise will beak in upon us, 

shining on those in the darkness, 

those sitting in the shadow of death, 

then showing us the way, 

one foot at a time, down the path of peace."

Nothing.

Your Light breaks through
the deepest dark,
cuts through the darkest confusion,
enlightens total misunderstanding.

All that we see
that blocks our way
making progress impossible —
is merely a stepping stone for You.

In Your mercy
You use broken, earthen vessels
to carry out impossible tasks
for Your glory.

Your mercy engulfs us
removing the chains that have bound us,
bringing freedom, forgiveness and healing.

Your Light comes and breaks through our darkness —
lighting the way, removing the shadow of death,
showing us the steps we are to take.

You take an old man and an old woman
and make them new parents.
You take a humble, young virgin and make her
the mother of the King of Kings.

You bring new life to old hearts,
worn and beaten down by the world.

You take faithful belief
and flood it with life —
filling mouths with new songs.

With You, nothing is impossible.
Nothing.
