I'm in touch with what is beyond your horizons.
You live in terms of what you see and touch.
I'm living on other terms.
I told you that you were missing God in all this.

Do I truly believe who You say You are?

Do I truly believe who You say You are?
Because I do live so much in terms of what I see and touch.
I so often am tied down to the mundane, Jesus.
Please help me to truly, fully believe in You.
Help me to see beyond what I can see and touch.
Help me to live by Your terms –
trusting that You see the whole picture –
which is so much more than what I can see.
Help me not to miss out on You today.

Just yesterday I was driving a van full of high school seniors and we were having some pretty philosophical discussions about life. In fact, we were playing Truth or True (instead of Truth or Dare).
One of the students asked me if I totally believed in God, with unabashed faith, and I immediately answered "YES!"
That brought up a bunch of questions and your blog totally reiterates what I said to them. I plan to share this with them today!
